Operations & Trading
I do not monitor charts during the day. If an alert triggers, I simply execute the order via my smartphone and that’s it. During the day, even if I’m busy with other tasks, a brief moment with my smartphone is sufficient.
Morning
- I do not check charts at all.
- I review the economic calendar (mainly to avoid holding positions right before major announcements, but checking by evening is sufficient).
During the Day
- Place orders immediately when alerts trigger.
- If I miss the alert, I still place the order within 10 minutes.
While Holding a Position
- I do not look at the chart.*
- Even if I do check, there’s nothing to do.
Before Bed
- Close positions if they might roll over the weekend (once a week).
- Calculate lot sizes (once a week).
- Review take-profit and stop-loss pips settings (once a month).
Strategy Review
Any new ideas or adjustments are considered on weekends. However, most of the ideas I review are ultimately not adopted after evaluation.
